Jing Li is an Associate Professor at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University in Beijing. He earned his Bachelor's degree from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, and obtained MFA degree in Glass Art from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2012. Regarded as one of the most technically accomplished glassmakers in China, he has embraced, examined and reinterpreted many
traditional Venetian glass blowing and sculpting techniques to create his own distinctive personal narrative within contemporary glass. Li has received multiple art scholarships from Penland School of Crafts, Pittsburgh Glass Center, and The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass. His work was
featured in New Glass Review 35, Art Glass Today 2, and published many papers in the national core journals among Art Research, Zhuangshi and World Art.
